Introduction
My apologies for falling behind on my Wednesday and Saturday posting schedule!
Things have been pretty crazy at my job the past two weeks AND I'm preparing to go to NEW YORK CITY for the third time this year, so I'm very busy, to say the least.
However, this week I'm still going to be writing about my favorite show from New York Fashion Week, Carolina Herrera's Spring/Summer 2024 collection, and how you can take inspiration from this show in your wardrobe.
Bold Primaries are the New Neutral

The stars of the show were the bright colors that made an appearance against the black-and-white ensemble.
Likewise, for anyone looking to build their wardrobe for the spring, my advice is to prioritize bold monochromatic pieces.
It doesn't matter if it's red, pink, yellow, or blue, just make sure it's LOUD!
Being boring is so out.
Large Flowers

While floral print is something that will never really go out of style I think it's important to be aware of the different variations of it that are in at any given time.
This spring large bichromatic florals will be the main print, so I'll be sure to shop around for my favorites when the time comes.
We Can Wear Houndstooth!

Houndstooth is one of my favorite prints and I especially love it being paired with red accents.
I've had a pair of Houndstooth pants that I've been looking for an excuse to wear, and it seems I've finally found it.
Conclusion
Carolina Herrera is a fun brand that prioritizes luxury without sacrificing fun.
As you build your wardrobe I hope you remember that clothing is supposed to be a reminder of your existence and surroundings.
Those who balance passion with trend stand the test of time remember...
Trends come and go but personal style is forever.
Thanks for reading!
P.S. - I love the venue of the show. It's inspired by minimalist beauty, and set in Isamu Noguchi’s Sunken Garden in Manhattan, New York. I'll have to add it to my NYC to do list.
