Everything I Want for Christmas This Year (Holiday 2024)

Introduction
When I was a kid I loved getting presents, so much so that I would spend DAYS crafting the perfect Christmas list.
I would cut up catalogs, print out pictures, and tear apart video-game magazines, so I could guarantee I got everything I wanted.
But as I've gotten older this cherished opportunity has become a dreaded assignment.
I mean - what do I want?
I've been blessed enough to have everything that I could want, so I find it hard to even allow myself to daydream about material things that I want to receive.
Likewise, to add more fun to this task I decided to kill two birds with one stone and turn my Christmas list into a blog post.
Note - As I've promised my family, my sizes are at the bottom of this post.
Shirts
"Owning a basic stripe has always been important, but this season it's essential."
"With a soft pattern like this floral will never go out of style."
Jackets
"With a beautiful shape and finish this trench coat is at the top of my list."
"I love the print. I love the fit. I want all of it."
Sweaters
"I'm new to cashmere, and I think this is a great starter piece."
"As I start into my second semester of dental school at the University of Michigan, I have no choice but to show my wolverine pride!"
Jeans
"I was getting tired of whitewash, so I'm looking forward to a new color for a new period of my life."
"Darker than the ones above, these jeans offer a great medium wash to expand my current palette of denim."
Shoes
"I talked about my love for these in Falling into Burgundy for Men, and I'm still obsessed with them."
Accessories
"I've been looking for a way to show my New York pride, and this hat is the perfect gateway."

There you have it - everything I want for christmas!
Real talk, I'm super excited about Christmas this year.
Beyond getting presents I'm really excited to give presents this year.
As someone who's never been great with the whole talking about your feelings thing, I find that clothing is the perfect "I love you."
I plan on taking Cyber Monday off so I can get all of my shopping done and I'm ready to put my knowledge to use to show some people how much I love them.
