Why I Love YITAI! [Brand Review]

If you consume fashion content, you've probably heard of YITAI before.

But if you haven't heard of them, you've SEEN them.

Their bright sweaters, unique imagery, and innovative construction have made them a brand that's hard to ignore.

Specifically, they're most known for the Landscape Hand Embroidered sweaters that are, so good that they've been copied several times.

If the goal of fashion is influence, then YITAI is someone worth knowing.

Founded by Yitai Geng, YITAI originated in 2016 out of a love for fashion and a desire to understand the fashion industry.

Now, Geng runs all creative at YITAI and seeks to use his platform to push others toward creating lives that celebrate individuality and expression.

I always love to see a brand whose values are embodied in its designs.

Everything about this brand: its advertising, messaging, and, of course, clothing reek of individuality and creativity.

It's the type of clothing that can only be designed by YITAI which I admire.

YITAI reminds me of a fundamental strategy I learned about in college.

Good brands follow trends to chase customers, but GREAT brands create a unique aesthetic that brings customers to them.

Trends come and go, but personal style is forever, and, at the time of writing this, everything from YITAI is either sold or selling out FAST.

So, please forgive me if any of my recommendations or favorites are sold out.

I love everything about this: the collar, the fabric, the pockets, and the buttons. I don't think you could go wrong with this.
